The Techno Legal Centre Of Excellence For Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) In India (TLCEODRI), just featured the Merlin Foundation in an article entitled “Open Source Is The Foundation For Global LegalTech And EduTech Projects.” The group is doing some interesting projects using open source software to promote better access to justice. Here are a few of their open projects:

This project includes a pro bono and demo platform, a training blog, a professional ODR portal for global stakeholders, a discussion forum, etc. The group has also launched Centre of Excellence for promoting ODR in India and other jurisdictions.
The group has also been working on a second project to promotes e-courts. This is a project upon which Indian Government has also worked extensively. Reportedly, it is in the final stage of being implementation and is in testing by the Indian Government before implementation.
Online Skills Training
The team has also developed an online skills development using an open source platform called. Moodle. Legal professionals in other parts of the world should take a look at Moodle for their own online training programs.
