The Merlin Legal Open Source Foundation is proud to announce that Michael Hastings has joined the Foundation as Associate Director. He will be working closely with Executive Director John Tredennick and the Advisory Board to further the Foundation’s mission to improve access to justice and make legal operations and regulatory compliance more efficient through the use of open source software.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Michael Hastings join us,” said Executive Director John Tredennick. “We have worked together at Catalyst for more than a decade, with Michael serving the company in a variety of positions culminating with his service as head of the company’s Client Resolution Center at the end. Michael has always been client focused and is excited to work with a wide range of people around the world to support and promote legal open source software,” he added.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” Michael noted. “Having a chance to improve access to justice and to make a real difference to the legal profession is a dream come true. My background in legal and client services seemed like the perfect fit for this role.” he added.

Michael has already started at Merlin Foundation and looks forward to working with everyone involved.
